I have to admit, in the absence of any fleshed out detail, I am disappointed with this news:

    1. Increased uni fees that require 5-10 yrs to pay back on HEX
    2. Tough jobs market for graduates
    3. Stalled wages growth
    4. Housing affordability issues.

Sounds like a perfect storm to disenfranchise a group of young voters?

And to me it is short sighted as is is at least a decade post graduation before they can spend much within the economy?

The only freebie I have nailed in my life was a free uni education and I have paid back that gift 100's of times over through employment I have created. I remain forever thankful for that gift.
