Not being an African, but having done primary school geography and a few other courses, let me make some basic observations.
Africa is not a country. It is a continent.
(for parochial people you could end up comparing Queenslanders against West Australians, lets not go there)
Sudan is a country by European designate, but not by "Sudanese"
(Keep this thought as it does crop up from time to time...oddly)
It is a SMALL subset of Sudanese population which commit these crimes.
(A VERY SMALL subset)
( Male, young, unemployed, future obscure and to them incomrehensible, confused, missing things we take for granted)
Australia's immigration policy is dumb [at best]
( it admits some who they know not what the laws of society are, witness Melbourne)
(it fixates on English language skills which are set by Cambridge University [UK] as no one in Australia has the skills and education to set such test relevant to admission into Australian society)
{whatever happened to the white Australian Policy}..Australians educating Australians in English?
There are supposedly 60+ million refugess, and we could pick and choose, but we don't ...effectively
