You mean the assets and finances Japan was using to invade Korea, China, Indo China (and probably Philippines and other neighboring countries next) and kill, brutalize and commit war crimes against their citizens?..............oh wow hard to find any justification there
An analogy is an intruder breaks into my neighbor's house and starts shooting and killing my neighbours............I then try to block their access to additional bullets................they then start shooting at my house and killing my family. In your world they are justified in doing that and to top it off I am to blame.
