No one has taken you up on your "please explain" and calling people names probably hasn't helped your cause Mr Russell.

Mr Abbott's life history is most certainly the business of the electorate at large so it is perfectly reasonable that it be discussed on this forum.

I have several issues in relation to his British ancestry.

Firstly he is by law supposed to have renounced his British citizenship before being elected to parliament. My understanding is that he has chosen not to provide documentary evidence that he is no longer a British citizen. This is a pity because as a lawmaker, he should welcome the opportunity to prove that he has renounced his dual nationality.

The law requires parliamentarians to be Australian citizens, not dual nationals. The reason is quite obvious. We require our representatives to represent Australia, not some other country.

Dual nationals might have divided loyalties.

Is there evidence Abbott has divided loyalties?

How about his support for the monarchy?

How about his foolishness about "knighthoods"?
