One other slightly small detail, the big 4 are govt guaranteed for up 250k on deposits. Assuming that trading accounts are deposits, which technically they should be and bearing in mind the risk of the Aussie big 4 going under is somewhere between none and zero. At least in the near future. One question I would ask is the risk factor vs fees for brokerage remembering all your trading money is in their account.
