Any delays in ResApps progress due to corporate shenanigans would be neither here nor there were it selling lollipops... but it is not. It is selling life saving technology. Tricky for an independent expert to place a value on an individual life, but I bet Pfizer even divides it up between a price of a first world life and a third world life. To deliberately affect the normal operation of res app, with the aim of keeping the share price low, would be unconscionable.
