The re-balance actually has not taken place yet.
It takes place every 3rd Friday of every quarter.
Hence it is due to occur next on the 16th of June.
Just go look back at all these dates and you will see that the volumes are through the roof.
It also takes place in the final 10 min closing auction.
The price action lately in my mind has been a mixture of events.
- Investors front running the re-balance
- I have read that the JNUG is reducing their holding in the GDXJ
- BDR is a dog. Burning cash hand over fist and not reporting it properly in announcements.
But yes! Definitely a good opportunity. Not here tho. Look at RMS and SLR (good quarterlies coming up). PRU is a dog also.
