after 50 years we now have good relations with both countries (after dumping Morrison)..... what good did the Vietnam war achieve?

my hat off to all who served. particularly doctors and nurses who helped both the military and civilians and had no weapons with which to defend themselves and came under fire too.

They were SEPARATE republics before the North supported by China INVADED the Republic of South Vietnam.
