nope that's TVIX (I think) I think VIXY is more short term moves so a war crisis type news will make it break out but normal up down moves in the index wont reflect it and it might run 3x but im not sure its definitely not 1 for 1 so why its a bit more dangerous to trade but gives better $ opportunity when right
I know people in the us who trade UVXY mostly at extreme high levels in the index you can sit in it a bit longer and as its more highly traded better moves come when its time like not war just a sell off
look under disallowed at UVXY, TVIX and VIXY at conversations that might help you will see VIXY doesn't get discussed much but all the talk might help a bit
