The 27% vote from SRK is a decision made by SRK board or SRK shareholders?
re CNGR, they will not run this project. As William alluded, they got involved to secure supply (I.e.. offtake /funding). They are not into mining. All Chinese companies in Argentina exploring/producing are mining companies (Ganfeng; Tsingshan, Zinjin...)
All the lithium projects in Argentina, and worldwide, are not owned/run by battery manufacturers; rather by mining companies, or conglomerates that have mining arm.
CNGR has no track record in mining or production or refining of Lithium Carbonate.
BiG QUESTION:
when it became apparent that all these bidders loved Argentina, loved the project, and were not interested in investing along side William ( who blame them....), why on Earth William did not open up a competitive bidding process to the whole world, rather to 5 companies shortlisted by themselves with the original intention to only fund/ participate/ secure offtake. WHY ??!!!!
