The simple answer is also to check your trading platform for how they update share count. Some only scalp the last audited count (so basically from Annual Report), some scalp from last financials (so may half year), some go to the trouble of calculating "Fully Diluted" which would assume all options exercised (usually done by brokers) ... this can be really important for a mining company that's issued lots of options along the way.

So theres the 143M number. I've seen 167M used also. 172M is I think most popular among financial sites and what I would use. There was about 8M shares not yet vested in the 2022 AR, some of which vested, and then then was some share based payments made during the FY ... New number comes out soon in the 2023 AR ..
