Everyone is chucking in their opinions as to what happened in WA, and why.
The resurrected, several times over, Queen Alannah is saying it's One Nation, and Christian Porter maligning McGowan (just to get a kick in to Turnbull's possible successor).
Everyone else is having a bob each way as well.
No one has said, yet, that a lot of the turmoil is down to our preferential voting system. A system that is understood by only one or two people Australia wide. The "Preference Whisperer" is apparently charging $50,000 per consultation and is solely responsible for absolute minority parties getting a seat with 1 or 2 votes.
The system is not understood by 99.999% of voters and they just don't know who their vote will benefit, other than the name they tick on the ballot paper.
The Preferential Voting system is being rorted and needs to be replaced with something far less dysfunctional.
