Interesting reply, what I have on my screen was price data, OHLC, yet you made an assumption of something else. Why? If I get rid of price data, I have a blank screen, so I suppose I could imagine anything.

A weekly price chart since early 2022 clearly shows a French Curve being an exponential rise within a rough channel, probably the most bullish type of longer term pattern imaginable.

Somehow you get an ascending wedge out of something. I say known as I've plenty of experience in patterns not doing what they are 'supposed' to do, especially recently. (last decade or so), because there is a tendency of large players to 'paint the pattern' with bots, in shorter time periods to catch out traders, offload a large position into what punters think is a 'classic' break out pattern etc, or perhaps give a classic sell pattern to buy off the unwary.
I just about always ask people what percentage of the time does your suggested pattern 'work'.

However firstly I'd like you to identify the ascending wedge you see, perhaps a chart could help??
