Sledger got sledged. He says 'act or dress a certain way' and Lower socioeconomic background. I think he's missing the definition. A bogan is someone who may look, behave and or dress in an unsophisticated way. The socioeconomic backgrounds of bogans is highly debatable, that's just his prejudice showing there.
There are great swaths of Queenslanders and Victorians that I know of that would fall into the bracket of being unsophisticated that would do rings around most others financially. Ever notice the price of old bogan cars that are now collected by bogans? I doubt Waaleed could afford a 1971 GTO Falcon. My example has some holes but a reasonable person would accept the point.
