Poyndexter, no-one is seeking to make everyone equal and no-one I know is aiming to get close to that situation.
But when wealth concentration reaches the levels it has even in the home of capitalism itself; battlers aren't even material stakeholders in their own country.
At that stage, people have no reason to support that system since they are little more that serfs being exploited by rampant GREED. They become increasingly alienated from from systems that exploit them rather than serve them.
IMO that's why Donald Trump is being confronted with angry protesters during the US Presidential Primaries. I also think it explains why Aussie Battlers so emphatically rejected Tony Abbott's commitment to serving wealth and privilege.
