    They did get a similar punishment from the ICC to previous cases handled by the international body. Heck, Warner didn't even get a fine or ban at all from the ICC. But the punishments imposed are by CA for breaching the CA Code of Conduct, with specific reference to the planning, insutruction and concealment of said plan - little to do with the tampering itself.

    We don't even know if other countries have their own codes of conduct (likely they do), so comparing those cases is largely irrelevant.
