it’s pretty clear that the yanks are in Oz to project US military power - not because the like us good looking Aussies and want to protect our Koalas
hence - it’s they, who should be paying.
Why would Australia feel any safer with the yanks being based in Oz - every time since WW2=that they have crossed the Pacific for war, they’ve come second.
