Getting disillusioned at the moment is understandable
The Middle East turmoil is certainly having an affect on the shareprice as well
To maintain faith in WBT I still keep going back to what we have.
An NVM memory with substantially better metrics than flash in all important areas, including price.
Why is DBHiteck looking seriously at WBT Reram?
It's main production is in legacy nodes(28nm and higher) and it can obviously see it can improve profitability longer term by introducing a cheaper and better product to clients
The semiconductor market for the auto sector is 95% in legacy nodes
That's why having a product that meets the harshest auto requirements is so important
We have already run 100,000 cycles through at 150 C, now just awating JEDEC qualification as an industry standard
There are many other sectors other than the auto sector than predominantly use legacy nodes
The key plan is to dramatically improve the metrics of products in that node
We also know that flash cannot scale below 28nm
WBT already has a megabyte working memory at 22nm, produced through global foundries
These lower nodes will also be an area where reram can shine as an alternative to flash
By the way flash memory at the moment is still integral to the AI sector
