Still fine if it was just "little interest in democracy in 3rd world countries". Truth is US, and before that UK, both have a history of actively undermining democracy in those countries. Ironically, a number of those so-called 3rd world countries started democratic changes even before some European countries. Guess what! Those changes were quickly shut down by UK and US cause they weren't in their interest.
