True, to a point. I kept the weight off for over two years but then the challenge was over and the discipline of point counting disappeared gradually and the weight came back on. I'd rather use perhaps a method such as yours rather than keeping a running total of everything I was eating which means feeling guilty so often when one slips up. We live in a society of eating out, socialising requiring food, trying new and exotic and often calorie laden foods, etc together with a barrage of food advertising. Also, for me anyway, I don't look 'fat' and this means people scoff at my taking care with what I am eating despite the fact I know I felt fantastic with less weight on, more energetic and loved the clothing shopping and wearing experience. Oh well, depends on our focus I guess - if we can refocus on the value of the pluses of weight loss then we can do it, for sure. Because I know I can do it, I kind of lost the fun of the challenge.
