Thank you for that kbear1. Your example of Ventracor emphasises just how prudent it is to keep ahead and not allow financial risk cause a fire sale of assets, in this case Intellectual Property. While a capital raising might be preferred at higher prices the reality is that every eligible shareholder can be the recipient of a quota of cheap shares rather than being offered to others in the first instance.
