Hi knuckles.

Read an interesting article earlier in the week about how careful Surf brands have to be to maintain their following.

It was commenting on the mistake brands such as Ripcurl made when they moved out of surf stores and went mainstream in supermarkets etc.

They lost their credability with their core market.

Apparently this factor is extremely jealously guarded by the few that have it and BBG is one.

I read that to mean that from a purely buiness sense it would look like a good idea but froma strategic sense it could be a disaster.
