It is not only Israel that rejects the two state solution. Hamas has repeatedly stated that its objection is the destruction of Israel and Jews in the region. Hezbollah has likewise called for the destruction of Israel. With the support that both Hamas and Hezbollah receive from influential and powerful Muslim states in support of these objectives, there is even less chance of a peaceful two state solution. Only a total reset of attitudes on both sides can ever result in peace, and this seems to be a far off dream.
