No, silicon has 10x the energy density of graphite - for the anode component only. You still need the Lithium. You still need the Cathode. Again - see your year 8 teacher for a fractions lesson. What percentage improvement in energy density for the full cell if the anode is improved? Maybe 20%.
This is the persistent error from those wondering why the industry doesn't see how amazing the ADO glue is.
If the battery as a whole was going to be 10x higher density, it is patently obvious ADO would have been taken over.
I'd suggest assuming the industry is not dumb. The corroloary is unfortunately then obvious.
