The LNP Government is moving towards two tiered education system whereby only the very rich or students who attend private schools will be afford a University Education. Does this country really want to continue to bring in through immigration doctors, nurses and engineers from places like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the middle east to cover the shortfall in these professions.
If students have the ability and IQ they should have the opportunity to go to University. As a country we are better off educating our own people. Students pay through the HECS system now and this should continue.
The last this country needs is a US based education system whereby parents save all their lives to give their children an education.
