The inner Brisbane suburb of Coorparoo has about 15,000 residents. Its been 2 years since I visited there, but there has been at least 2,000 new dwellings established in that time, housing a minimum of 4,000 people. Population is growing at ~150 per year. 4,000 extra capacity for only 300 more people in 2 years. Craziness.
