Bolivia recently lowered the minimum working age to 10 years old.
Perhaps if we did the same in Australia, the kids would be able to work in a coal mine after school, or sell junk on the streets, to be able to pay for their own expensive presents.
Then the kids would realise the value of hard work and toil, and not think that there's a magic money tree at the bottom of the garden.
Welcome to the age of entitlement....
I sometimes regret not having kids, but that feeling soon passes!!
