I think you highlight everything that is wrong with Bell Potter et al. Going from a 'sell' to a 'buy' with nothing in the middle, and in my opinion getting their 'sell' well off. They are reactionary reporters rather than company analysts.
But some people do love them - no idea why - and i suspect their upgrades are the reason volume was/is increasing, which is not a bad thing at all. I do however prefer to be ahead of the likes of Bell Potter et al for that exact reason.
