There you go. Most do not not give thanks for the efforts and certainly the hearts of the veterans and our defence force, including the Kiwi's.
To me Anzac Day should be based on the Coo-ee marches and snowball marches in Australia in our defence after the events of Gallipoli.
Australians getting slaughtered at the direction of others in Gallipoli, whilst remembered, saddened and respected is hardly relevant for Australia's defence and the purpose of the veterans.
It is a bit like billions spent by UK recently into Ukraine, nothing to do with Australia.
So while the Anzacs and our defence force should be commended and respected and remembered and thanked, should it not be done in a better way with more relevance to Australia rather than links foreign interests bringung the defence force and veterans closer to the public and community enhancing their relevance ?
