We should be honouring those that fell by celebrating the purpose and will to defend, not a date in time where the odds where staked up against us by stupid decisions of others.
That way those in the Tri-forces could connect better to the community, those that fell in the past and understand why the hell they have a bayonet in their hand and why they need to do what they need to do!!!
The defence would have more meaning in what they do, why they do it, and why others have fallen before them
