I'm on an organising committee for the ANZAC day events ..... it not only recognises the challenges, hardships, desparation, losses, heroics and despicability of conflict, but also provides a venue and occasion for community cohesion, participation, introspection and personal improvement.
How individuals want to pollute, skew and sabotage the solemnity of the occasion is a burden they can own and take with them to the grave.
