Mature trees should be harvested and the material used in construction, this allows the Carbon to be locked away for many years.
New young trees grown in the place of the harvested trees capture and store much more CO2 than the mature trees.
The problem is Greens and environmentalists prevent harvesting as they don't have the intelligence to see the greater good.
