It takes but one session of Parliament to realise that Tony Abbott's rotten government is not about any such things! Indeed, Abbott's much hidden ambition is for greater concentration of material wealth into ever fewer hands, to ever-greater repression of opportunity for mainstream Australians and to a return to his romanticised memories of Victorian England.

Therefore he would have supported the PPL for all women (given an opportunity)... QED.

He may well have thought of it himself but was only PM for three years.
