AVB saying that their lack of communication is due to "sensitivities" working in Brazil is an excuse. There may a miniscule of truth in this but it is an excuse.
Fact is AVB is listed on the ASX. They have to follow ASX rules first and foremost and I'm not saying that they haven't.
Not telling shareholders about the mine opening when it was already in the Brazilian papers doesn't gel with the excuse. The big 4 shareholders knew about the mine opening.
The delay in telling shareholders that they had signed a second mining contract is not continuous disclosure and no doubt within the ASX rules.
The burning question is "Did any of the big 4 know about the second mine opening before the other shareholders?"
End of the day it doesn't make any real difference to retail shareholders. Being kept in the dark is one thing. Then there's the other.
