European markets were all up overnight.
The FTSE was flat but up a single point (.015%), the DAX rose 110 points (.65%) and the CAC rose 42 points (.55%).
ECB comments that the "time for cutting interest rates is fast approaching" did buoy markets in Europe.
In Germany, the extreme right wing party "Alternatives for Germany" touted "DEXIT" with Germany leaving the EU - commentary was that this would destroy Germany's economy.
In the US, the DOW rose 125 points (.33%), the NBI rose 42 points (.96%), the NASDAQ Composite bucked the trend and fell 48 points (.30%), and the Russell small cap index rose 35 points (1.75%).
US CPI data for January is out tomorrow and markets are waiting to see if inflation is dropping.
US 10 year bond yield at 4.17%.
Oil prices remain high - Brent crude at US$82.10.
Gold price at US$2,021.
