OK, my tongue is in my cheek but it is a fair question none the less.
Whenever there are cyclones or floods in the tropics there is a small number who say we deserve what we get, only idiots would live in the tropics so we should not ask for handouts. Well there would be a dozen storms in Brisbane every year with hail writing off hundreds of cars, trees crashing into houses, local flooding. Now we hear that ECLs are a regular occurrence in Sydney. We don't lose homes in bush fires up here though.
Don't rename them, they already have a perfectly good one. Learn about them and take precautions as we do in the tropics. When it clears get back to business. Some help will be forthcoming, but never enough.
