If you buy as an individual & the total of franking credits you receive from all the shares you own is less than $5000, the 45 day rule doesn't apply. Any other circumstance & you miss out on the franking Crs On the 9th March I looked at buying more in my SMSF, but without the franking credits, not worth doing. I got a phone call today from OZL/BHP asking if I knew how to vote & what I intended to vote I told her yes I know how to vote & I will vote No.
