Perhaps you should ask one of the health care workers, police, emergency services personal, or other service sector workers who lost their jobs due to state governments "no jab, no work" policies.
Perhaps you should check the meaning of the word "mandated".
Enforcement doesn't mean they hold you down and jab your arm... but withholding your ability to work, earn money and function in society is still enforcement.
Most people now acknowledge the mandate was a huge mistake. Even those who justified it at the time are quietly admitting it was wrong... We won't recover for years. All those critical service sectors were drained of experience and are desperately short-staffed of and can't attract enough new people.
