Christianity has committed as many or more crimes against humanity than Islam if you marry up the same time frames.
Islam is about 1,400 years old, Christianity at around 1,400 years after Christ was a brutal, dictatorial religion slaughtering its way through Europe and the Middle East. Crusades and Inquisitions and the wholesale slaughter of midwives equal or better the crimes of Islam. Now Christianity has gone on to become the worlds dominant religion and is relatively benign. One imagines Islam will eventually settle into a more benign state after a few more hundred years of misery and bloodshed.
One can only dream of getting rid of both religions but they are like a wine stain on carpet. Basically you have to replace the carpet.
