Check the records and the facts....the Palestinians and the 5 Arab countries that invaded Israel in 1948 rejected the opportunity of a Palestinian state, and the Palestinians have outright rejected every subsequent opportunity, despite the many and considerable concessions made by Israel.

And, now that Hamas has increased their popularity and support among Palestinians (including in the West Bank), and as the Hamas Charter denies the legitimacy of Israel and calls openly for an Islamic State in the place of Israel, a 2-state solution is even less likely than before 7/10.

And it would be the same today, if the Palestinian living within Israel, took up arms and declared Independence, and their own State within Israel.

If they did that, they would be branded as "Terrorists, Separatists, Rebels and Traitors" and would be put down by the Israeli IDF and her allies - regardless, if Arab countries recognize their Independence and a country separate to Israel.
