The general public is indifferent to the technicalities on what constitutes a genocide.
It is what they see each night on TV and what the general public sees amounts to genocide currently being committed by Israel.

Demonstration and tent cities on campuses is nothing new and have resulted in changing political directions, including economic policies towards the targeted nation.
The US campuses, started off the ground swell against South African apartheid policy, them calling on boycotts, disinvestment and sanctions.
The ironic part was that the US campuses were also supporting a terrorist group the ANC whose member was Mandela!

This is similar accusations lines pushed by our Jewish diaspora and certain politicians on the current Uni students getting involved in many countries.

Maybe Israel doesn’t want the younger generation to learn what happened in South Africa because they were one of the few countries that supported that apartheid regime!

Also they are still denying about the Jewish involvement in the Bolshevik government of Lenin/Stalin era!

They just cannot engage with the reality that their worshipped ethnic-cleansing regime has been hauled before the ICJ and the ICC despite the USA's efforts to prevent global scrutiny of what's been done to Palestinian civilians.

With even more insurgents speaking out of turn in Netanyahu's warmongering, militaristic 'Cabinet'; the IDF's slaughter of Palestinian civilians is being etched into History for all the wrong reasons - we may even be witnessing the economic collapse of Israel despite the massive US resourcing it gets and the shredding of the USA's global credibility.
