As said on the WOW forum, Woolworths is making a mockery of the political process and political system in Australia donating such huge sums and propping up an otherwise fundamentally unpopular Labor Party.
If not an attempt to thwart anti-trust/ competition laws, why would Woolworths donate such huge sums to The ALP? Out of the goodness of their hearts?
Woolworths should be forced to sell all their land banked properties and should be forced to sell 50% of their stores to competitors.
The AP should stop running crony capitalism for the likes of WOW. The public and the Courts should see through these terrible attempts to subvert democracy by the ALP and Woolworths in all of its enormous donations to the ALP.
The next Federal election down in Australia runs the risk of being stolen by the ALP. The ALP’s SA voice had a turnout of 10%, that is how unpopular the ALP and Woolworths really are.
