    You are correct that PEP-11 poses "huge social risk". The risk is that gas prices will become very affordable for east coast businesses and residents, There is a further risk that the government's "made in Australia" and crtical minerals plan will be succesful.

    THere exists a very strong risk that PEP-11 will provide gas to the east coast for over 20 years, becoming a "firming" energy source.

    THe enviromental risk is a short pipeline or direct ship transfer, close to services and support. A short pipeline obvious has less risk than a long one and in the very unlikely event, close to services means that risk can be easily managed.

    You are correct in describing "PEP-11" as of "magnitude" Yep lovie, there might just be a lot of gas that an extremely experienced drill team may discover. The suitors will be circling like sharks.
