I'm reasonably sure those that pan Nuclear as 'a' source of power possibly don't ( and never will ) have their heads around either the power problem or the potential solutions.

Folk hear Nuke Power and theirs minds race to the likes of 3 mile island , Chernobyl or Fukishima. All in all the Nuclear Power industry has had a pretty good run over time and like any engineering/science it has evolved.

Together with Gas power Im very much interested in SMRs ( small modular reactors)...also micro reactors. The latter are very intriguing.

We ought to be looking at holistic solutions to the power generation conundrum. And in doing so get rid of any inefficient and effectively useless methods.

The answers are blowing in the wind....just don't use those turbines.... one of a handful of major cons currently circulating
