Decades ago in Mt Gravatt Brisbane ,there was an out cry about 4 young girls on the dole, shared a house and a car, and rented a cheap flat in surfers Paradise.
Good for them to use their money wisely.
But long term, is no future.
I wonder how many people are doing it now with no intentions to better themselves, and relying / complaining about working for the Dole?.
At least fronting up for work will stop the practice of working cash jobs and surfing and etc..
They don't work all week, so have time to look for better paying job, do cash jobs,and go surfing.
I am all for helping people, but they need to show me they are stepping up to help themselves.
