I am trying to make sense of the photos released by Israel of the missile impact at one of their airbases and other places. They seem to be showing tiny craters.
Something doesn't add up. These are missiles with 500Kg warhead and impact speeds of several Machs.
Google suggests the impact site should be something more like this photo.
