A few posts back I did mention that a broad increase in shares is required to signal a potential rise in shares (but could be an engineered move). If the M7 are not pushing in line with the general markets then this is a concern. Why would they start to fall behind if the rest of the markets are moving? I suggested that it is a good way to sell down those major stocks and hide the moves with the majority. When the majors have been reduced, then they can start dumping the broad shares and provide the appearance of a strong market again, but supporting the M7 in a final move..
Or it could just be that the markets are moving up on all the good news around
