i came into friday, long SPI, and just stayed long, despite it falling through to China.

now that takes a certain temperament, i think you will agree.

on thursday i sold out of a major stock for a profit and covered the dollar amount of that stock by going long SPI to keep hugging my benchmark. if the SPI had been trading at a premium, i would have bought STW instead.
all my stocks on friday showed a profit. in the end, the day was overall profitable.

0n a daily basis, i think there may be another leg down. from memory, there was a fairly recent sycom low of 5380 which has not been revisited by a later day session. so if a day session to come can take out that low, i think that will be the end of the downside.
