But Rolfe's case was different.
From the evidence, his second and third shots were when the perp was already down and no longer a threat, and that was the nub of the prosecution. he was eventually acquitted.
If Scott took the perp down with one shot (or probably two), then she did the right thing by the law.
I don't like it either, but I don't believe Scott should have any further repercussion - but of course there will have to be some sort of enquiry.
