The Company is focused on the exploration and development of coal projects in South Africa. The Company operates the Kliprand Colliery and Emoyeni coal beneficiation plant in Dannhauser, Kwa-Zulu Natal and is in the process of developing the Ikwezi Ngagane rail siding near the Ngagane power station in Newcastle. The Kliprand Colliery is an opencast operation, in the Klipriver Coalfield of KwaZulu-Natal. The Colliery has a planned mine extension to the west called Geodehoep. The Kliprand Colliery has an operating mine with infrastructure, including power, water supply, buildings, workshops, weighbridge and management facilities. The coal wash plant has a processing capacity of approximately two million tons run of mine (ROM) per annum with the frontend crushers and screens designed to process approximately four million tons per annum (mtpa) ROM. The plant has operated at a steady state capacity of over 60,000 tons per month.More
